Wine brewing



Wine brewing is the process of wine making. Generally, the wine brewing process consists of four different stages:

·         Preparation
·         Fermentation
·         Aging
·         Bottling
In order to get a brief understanding on the wine brewing process lets examine the four stages and get the general idea.

The preparation stage of wine brewing is the stage when you decide on the amount of wine you wish to have at the end of the brewing process. Then you know the exact amounts of brewing supplies you will need. You will then get all the necessary wine brewing equipment and products and start making wine.

The fermentation stage of wine brewing is when it's all happening, the yeast are fed from the sugar and produces energy, fortunately, the by-product is alcohol, at the end of the  fermentation we will have wine.
The aging stage is when the wine really gets its character; this long process is basically a second fermentation which is called a "Malolactic Fermentation", at the end of this process the wine losses its sourness and gets its texture and clearance.

The final stage is bottling, it concludes our journey of wine brewing. The reason we want to bottle our wine is because we want to minimize is exposure to air, one can pour the wine directly from the barrel, however,  after removing some of the wine from the barrel  air will soon come in and spoil our wine. The best way to bottle the wine is using  glass bottles sealed with a cork.
